Under 10
In May this year our little girls took to the field! They ranged in age from 6 to 10 years and were very enthusiastic indeed. The main aim was to teach them the skills of the game and it is very promising to see such a huge interest. We hope this enthusiasim will continue.
We had a challenge game for them against Moyle Rovers which was very enjoyable indeed. It was great to see so much support on the day.

Under12 Championship 2004
Mullinahone had a lot of members under 12 this year, with a result we had enough to make two teams.

Brian Boru’s Draw

Mullinahone qualified for the Semi Final in this Competition and were defeated by Moyle Rovers by 3pts in a very close encounter in Cloneen. Moyle Rovers later went forward and won the County Final.

Throughout the year we also had many friendly games to accommodate all our players. To round up the season we held an under 12 tournament in Mullinahone where all players played, enjoyed and received medals.

Mullinahone qualified for the Semi Final of this Competition, only to be defeated in a very hard and competitively close game by 1 goal in the last seconds of the game.

U16 Championship 2004
Mullinahone were entered in the B Championship this year.
They played:
Templetuohy – won
Cashel – won
Emily – won

This competition is run on a league basis and after the first round of games Mullinahone were through to the semi-final against Templetuohy. Most of the girls on this team have been with the club since we started 4 years ago and their experience is beginning to show at this stage. As a result they were easy winners over Templetuohy on this occasion. This means they are now through to the County Final against Emily. Dates and times of this game have not yet been confirmed.
